Classic City Jazz is UGA's vocal jazz ensemble. Since its debut in January 2002, the group has been selected to perform at numerous prestigious events including the 'Tribute to Jazz Trombonist Wycliffe Gordon' in Augusta with artists such as pianist Marcus Roberts, the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) In-Service Conference in Savannah, and reading sessions at the American Choral Directors' Association regional conferences of Spring 2008 and Summer 2009. 
CCJ also performed in concert with the Dave Brubeck Quartet at UGA. We had the honor of presenting at the UNC Greeley Jazz Festival in Spring 2011, and we have met and sung with jazz legends such as Tony Bennett, Wynton Marsalis, and the Grammy award-winning group, the New York Voices.
